What are the travel requirements for Visa-exempt countries?

Travellers from visa-exempt countries must meet the following requirements before travelling to Zambia:

  • Length of Stay
    • Tourism: Up to 90 days within a 12-month period
    • Business: Up to 30 days per visit
  • Passport Validity: Must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry.
  • Travel Documents: Must hold a return ticket or proof of onward travel.
  • Purpose of Visit: Allowed for short-term tourism and business visits.

For longer stays or other purposes, travellers may need to apply for an appropriate visa or extension in accordance with Zambia’s immigration rules.

Entry Procedure 

Step 1: Arrival at Port of Entry:
Arrive at a designated airport or border checkpoint (e.g., near Victoria Falls).

Step 2: Immigration Clearance:
Present your passport (valid for at least 6 months) to the immigration officer.
